Intensive Permanence & Trauma Services Social Worker - Milwaukee Area

Anu Family Services, an innovative non-profit child and family service agency, is seeking full-time Intensive Permanence Specialists in the Milwaukee area for a program to work with youth and adults who have experienced grief, loss, and trauma. The goal of IPS/ITS is to assist the client to work through what has happened to them to help them understand how this has impacted who they are today. The focus is to clarify these life events to work on moving forward into a more positive, healthy future, full of healthy supports and connections. The goal of IPS is to increase their number of relationships and addressing their trauma. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of related experience. Qualifications should include: MSW or equivalent degree preferred, excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships, significant computer skills, attention to detail, and the drive and passion to help kids find permanent connections while addressing grief, loss, and trauma. Previous experience with youth in out-of-home care a plus.

Parent Coach – Full-time – Madison, WI

Anu Family Services, Inc., an innovative private non-profit family services agency, is seeking a Parent Coach who can serve the Dane, Sauk, Columbia and Jefferson County areas.   This is a full-time, hourly position which provides a flexible schedule with occasional evening and weekend hours.  Benefits are available after 30-60 days of employment.

Paid training will be provided to qualified candidates via an online Parenting Coach Certification course. Parent Coaches employ Present Moment Parenting, helping parents focus on the whole child in the present, rather than on “modifying the behavior”. Parent coaching is a strengths-based intervention that provides biological, foster, adoptive and kinship parents with hands-on, here-and-now tools for bringing about rapid, dramatic improvements in the relationship with their child, and as a result, in the child’s behavior.
