.75-FT Parent Coach – Appleton area
Anu Family Services, Inc., an innovative private non-profit family services agency, is seeking a Parent Coach who can serve families in Outagamie, Manitowoc, and Kewaunee Counties. This is a 30-40 hour per week position which provides a flexible schedule with occasional evening and weekend hours.
Paid training will be provided to qualified candidates via an online Parenting Coach Certification course. Parent Coaches employ Present Moment Parenting, helping parents focus on the whole child in the present, rather than on “modifying the behavior”. Parent coaching is a strengths-based intervention that provides biological, foster, adoptive and kinship parents with hands-on, here-and-now tools for bringing about rapid, dramatic improvements in the relationship with their child, and as a result, in the child’s behavior.

Candidates will have a Master’s degree in counseling, education, social services or related field, plus significant experience in child welfare or other child-related fields. Preferred candidates have experience working with bio, kinship or foster parents whose children have experienced trauma. A valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation are required for this position.

Social Worker - Western Wisconsin
Anu Family Services, an innovative non-profit child and family service agency, is seeking a direct-practice social worker with excellent clinical skills to work in the Intensive Permanence Services program. The position provides on-site therapeutic services in efforts to heal relational trauma to children, adolescents, and families in various out-of-home care settings. This is a .75 to FT position, with a competitive salary. The position will provide in-home/community-based services for clients in Western Wisconsin. Position includes travel, some evenings and/or weekends, and responsibilities will include assisting the client to work through what has happened to them to help them understand how this has impacted who they are today. The focus is to clarify these life events to work on moving forward into a more positive, healthy future, full of healthy supports and connections. Additional qualifications also include excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships, significant computer skills, attention to detail, and the drive and passion to help clients find lifelong connections while addressing grief, loss, and trauma. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with child welfare experience and WI Social Work Certification. A Master's Degree is preferred and prior experience in child welfare or counseling is a plus.
