Parent Coach – Part-time – Appleton, WI

Anu Family Services, Inc., an innovative private non-profit family services agency, is seeking a Parent Coach who can serve the Outagamie, Manitowoc, and Dodge County areas.  This is a part-time, hourly position with a flexible schedule.  This position has the opportunity to become a full-time position.

Paid training will be provided to qualified candidates via an online Parenting Coach Certification course. Parent Coaches employ Present Moment Parenting, helping parents focus on the whole child in the present, rather than on “modifying the behavior”. Parent coaching is a strengths-based intervention that provides biological, foster, adoptive and kinship parents with hands-on, here-and-now tools for bringing about rapid, dramatic improvements in the relationship with their child, and as a result, in the child’s behavior.

Job Requirements:

Candidates will have a Masters degree in counseling, education, social services or related field, plus significant experience in child welfare or another child-related field.  Preferred candidates have experience working with bio, kinship or foster parents whose children have experienced trauma. Social Worker - Southwest MN

Anu Family Services, an innovative non-profit child and family service agency, is seeking a direct-practice social worker with excellent clinical skills. The position provides on-site therapeutic services in efforts to heal relational trauma to children, adolescents, and families in various out-of-home care settings. This is a part-time position, with a competitive salary. The position will provide in-home services for clients in Southwest MN. Position includes travel, some evenings and/or weekends. Responsibilities will include assisting the client to work through what has happened to them and to help them understand how this has impacted who they are today. The focus is to clarify these life events to work on moving forward into a more positive, healthy future, full of healthy supportive connections. Additional qualifications also include excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships, significant computer skills, attention to detail, and the drive and passion to help clients find lifelong connections while addressing grief, loss, and trauma. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with child welfare experience and MN Social Work Licensure. A Master's Degree is preferred and prior experience in child welfare or counseling is a plus. Community Based Flexible Support Specialist

Anu Family Services, an innovative non-profit child and family service agency, is seeking a Community Based Flexible Support Specialist to provide in-home education and support for adults and/or children. The Flexible Support Specialist will work with clients to increase independence, practice skills that keep them healthy and promote positive well-being, and connect them to their community. This part-time position will serve Chippewa and Eau Claire Counties with the possibility of expanding to neighboring counties. Currently, this is a part-time position with the possibility of growing to a full-time position.

Requirements include a Masters degree in social work or related field OR high school degree with 3 years’ experience in child welfare, child development, and/or parenting. A valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation are required for this position. Knowledge of Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) programming a benefit, but not a requirement for this position.
