We are excited to announce our participation in #GivingTuesday, a global giving movement that has been built by families, organizations, businesses and communities in countries around the world. Every act of generosity counts and each means even more when we give together.
Together, people are creating a new ritual for our annual calendar. We have two days for getting deals – Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but on #GivingTuesday, we have a day for giving back. On Tuesday, November 27th, your donations to the causes that you believe in will be matched by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Everyone has something to give. You could give your time and your love to a child who needs it much more than they need a new bike or a new dress for the holidays. Or consider making a donation on November 27th to supportour programs that allow us to create a path to loving, permanent connections for our foster care youth.
