This is a free event sponsored by the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare (CASCW), School of Social Work, University of Minnesota- Twin Cities, and made possible by a Title IV-E training grant administered by the MN Department of Human Services.

Darkness to Light Training in Madison

I am excited to announce that Anu Family Services is partnering with the Supporting Families Together Association (SFTA) to provide a FREE training to Anu foster parents on sexual abuse prevention. This training program educates adults to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The program believes that child safety is an adult's job. Stewards of Children is designed to education adults who care for children. The training is being held on Monday, April 30th from 6-9pm at the Madison Anu office at 6000 Gisholt Drive, Suite 109, Madison. Please RSVP to our Madison office staff at 608-663-1262 if you plan to attend. Non-Anu foster parents are invited to attend with prior approval by RSVP to Crystal at 920-988-4137.   

Circles of Life Conference April 26th and 27th in Madison

The Circles of Life Conference is being held on April 26th and 27th in Madison at the Marriott West.  The conference is open to families with children with special needs and the professionals that work with them.  The conference is $70 for family members and $90 for professionals.  Social workers can receive continuing education credit for attending.  Foster Parents will also find the conference worthwhile and can receive training hours.
