An original curriculum developed and tailored specifically to the needs of couples who are raising children from the foster care system.
This curriculum is designed to help couples strengthen their relationships with one another as a means of strengthening their families and providing their children with the safety, security, and love that they so deserve. The curriculum development process was dynamic and integrated findings from the research and training experiences during a five-year federal grant awarded to MSU School of Social Work from the US Department of Health and Human Services. For professionals, the Building a Home with Heart curriculum is available here free of charge.
